What families wish each other understood
Each workshop focuses on strengthening understanding, communication, and wellbeing across generations in the household.
Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing
Learn how stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm show up in daily life, and how to respond with awareness and support. Families explore ways to build emotional resilience and create healthier coping patterns together.
Communication & Understanding
Strengthen how families listen, express needs, and navigate difficult conversations. Participants share perspectives, build empathy, and learn tools for more supportive and respectful communication.
Substance Use Awareness & Prevention
Explore how substance use impacts young people and families, including early warning signs, risk factors, and supportive ways to respond. Discussions focus on prevention, recovery support, and reducing stigma.
Coping Skills for Everyday Life
Practice simple, effective strategies to manage stress, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges. Families leave with tools they can use at home, at school, and in daily routines.
Family Connection & Shared Perspectives
Parents and students have the opportunity to share what they wish each other understood. These guided conversations help build trust, deepen relationships, and strengthen mutual support.
Building Supportive Environments
Learn how to create home and community spaces that promote safety, belonging, and wellbeing for young people and families.
Sessions are designed to be practical, supportive, and grounded in real experiences. Families leave feeling more connected, informed, and equipped to support one another.
